Deutsches Jazzfestival Club Night: Blue Lab Beats and Moses Yoofee Trio live at Kunstverein Familie Montez

For a club night as part of the German Jazz Festival we are very happy to present two of the finest young jazz-influenced groups from London and Berlin.
Blue Lab Beats whose latest album was released on Blue Note Records craft a supple, wide-ranging sound that blends boom-bap grooves and jazz-funk hooks are wide-ranging influences inspired by the pioneers of hip-hop and the music of the African diaspora; a sound that tells of London, of today, while hinting at the future.
Last year, we got to release the first track by Moses Yoofee Trio from Berlin on our compilation Jazz Montez Presents Vol. I. Featuring Moses Yoofee vester on keys, Roman Klobe on bass and guitar and Noah Fürbringer on drums, the band effortlessly blends hip hop grooves, catchy melodies and gentle, virtuosic solos.
